Internship with Florence Newspaper

The Florence Newspaper is providing internships to individuals seeking to gain experience in the areas of journalism, marketing, public relations, and photojournalism.

Participants in our internship program will have the opportunity to write and take photos that will be published, work professionally with Florentine press offices, and work closely with the local community.

The internship is ideal for those exploring the fields of Journalism, Photojournalism, Film-Making, Art History, Theatre and Cinema.

The Florence Newspaper provides access to several events and exhibits where participants will write, film or photograph a piece for publication. Events may also include Sports, Fashion and Design events.

Also, those interested in the fields of Marketing, Communications, and Public Relations will have the opportunity to be involved with the business side of the newspaper. Participants will have the opportunity to actively be involved with the sales, planning, and building of relationships.

FLORENCE NEWSPAPER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

The following is the syllabus of the internship in journalism. Internships in photography, marketing, and public relations will be negotiated together with the coordinator at the beginning of the period.
